POOL WATER BALANCE

LOW PH

Low pool pH can make the water uncomfortable and may contribute to corrosion or damage to pool equipment and surfaces. Test the water and raise the pH gradually before swimming.

Lower the pH Return the water to the recommended range.
Reduce Scale Risk Help prevent mineral deposits and cloudy water.
Improve Chlorine Performance Help your sanitiser work more effectively.
Improve Water Comfort Restore a more comfortable swimming environment.

HOW TO LOWER HIGH POOL PH

Correct high pH gradually. Test between doses rather than adding a large amount of treatment at once.

  1. Test the water

Measure the pH and chlorine before adding any chemicals.

  2. CONFIRM THE POOL VOLUME

Use the correct pool volume when calculating the required dose.

  3. ADD PH MINUS

Apply CrystaLux pH Minus exactly as directed on the product label.

  4. RUN THE FILTRATION

Keep the pump running so the treatment circulates throughout the pool.

  5. RETEST BEFORE REDOSING

Allow the treatment to circulate for the period stated on the label, then test the pH again.

  6. CHECK THE CHLORINE

Once the pH is balanced, check whether the chlorine level also requires correction.

Do not mix pH Minus with chlorine or any other pool chemical. Add products separately and store them in their original containers.

Treatment timeline

HOW LONG DOES HIGH PH TAKE TO CORRECT?

High pH should be corrected in controlled stages to avoid lowering the level too far.

  • After the first dose

    BEGIN CIRCULATION

Run the filtration system so the treatment mixes evenly through the pool.

  • After the label-stated waiting period

    RETEST THE PH

Check the new reading before adding any further pH Minus.

  • Once balanced

    RECHECK THE CHLORINE

Confirm the chlorine is within its recommended range before swimming.

BALANCED WATER ALL SEASON
